Wind Turbine Calculator: Mobile App Built by Skynix
A mobile calculator for estimating wind turbine energy production.

Three tiers
From a free tier for first tests to advanced modes for engineering projects.
Local wind data
The app evaluates local wind speeds using NASA data and lets you switch hemisphere to account for seasonality.
Realistic output
It accounts for turbulence, trees and obstructions, because a smarter turbine does not always produce more energy.
Comparisons and reports
Compare several turbines and export a PDF report.
How we built it
The calculator started as a quick proof of concept in April 2026 and grew over four months into a three-tier product with local wind data, turbulence handling, multi-turbine comparison and PDF reports. It is a single React Native (Expo, TypeScript) codebase for iOS and Android.
